Lewe Goldman, Supply Chain & Operations Director at Cloud Nine, will be speaking at Logistics Manager’s Sustainable Supply Chain Conference in London on 10 May 2023.
He will be speaking about the innovative strategies at use to minimise the financial cost of meeting net-zero goals. His presentation will cover what sustainability goals are often set and the important difference between being ‘carbon neutral’ and ‘net-zero’. Goldman will analyse different strategies already deployed by companies with the aim of achieving net-zero status and suggest strategies that companies can implement into the budgeting exercise.
Throughout his employment at Kuehne+Nagel, Wayfair, and High Street TV, Goldman has managed a number of complex supply chains and worked with multiple global freight forwarders, 3PLs, and B2B as well as B2C delivery companies in the UK and across Europe.
In his current role as Supply Chain and Operations Director at Cloud Nine, his responsibility and geographical reach have expanded and he oversees and manages the global supply chain as well as compliance, returns, and customer experience.
Cloud Nine manufactures and sells a range of hair styling appliances including hair straighteners, hair curlers, and hairdryers.
The conference is a one-day face-to-face event which highlights the untapped opportunity of supply chain decarbonisation in international climate action while also covering how having sustainability at the very core of businesses and their strategies can influence the bottom line.
The event offers attendees a total of five CPD hours – accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport – to keep up with their professional development, as well as invaluable insight from experts in the world of supply chain sustainability and networking opportunities.
